Greetings! Welcome to Canterbury Chapel, the Episcopal Church and Student Center at the University of Alabama. Canterbury is a unique and wonderful place. It is both a vibrant parish of faculty, staff, and community members from the greater Tuscaloosa area and a vital campus ministry serving the students of the University of Alabama and other area colleges. There is no more important time in our spiritual formation than the time we spend in college. Those of us here at Canterbury know this, and we are committed to making this a place where students can grow spiritually as they explore the nature of their own relationship with God in the context of a community where others are on similar journeys of exploration. As Chaplain, I am available to help in whatever ways I can as people work toward achieving a mature faith. This is a place with freedom to investigate the crucial questions of our lives. If I can help you undertake that investigation, I will be honored to do so. In the meantime, you are most welcome at Canterbury.
